Automatic Update of Clients

The Totalview desktop clients update automatically. For this feature to function, write access to

the installation location must be granted.

Each time a client is launched, TotalviewAutoUpdater.exe (located in the root installation

folder) initiates and checks both the client’s version and its own. The server address used for

this version check is specified in appsettings.json.

If a version mismatch is detected, the latest files are downloaded from the server and replace the

existing files on the computer.
